YARD SALE

The ground hog has seen its shadow, and what a relief. It is time to start thinking about spring.  A community yard sale is planned for Saturday April 3rd.  We all have brought items to our new homes that no longer fit in. Why not let someone else enjoy them.  More details of times will follow. Just start getting prepared.

NEIGHBOR HOOD WATCH

Possible start up of the neighbor hood watch. Please consider volunteering!!!

VANDALISM

Keep your eyes peeled for people that don’t live in our neighborhood.  A series of random acts of vandalism on our homes and homes currently under construction has us all concerned. Please report any suspicious activity to the non-emergency JSO number of  630-0500. We are located in a large policing zone (Zone 5).  If you do not get the response that you deserve please contact  Zone 5 Police Chief Holdenfield at 384-8028.

WOW, Jeannie is reporting only 17 lots left. There are 4 spec homes for Coppenbarger for sale and four homes due to start construction. Dykes construction has 5 lots with $5,000 free options packages, and currently working on six. Claxton builders are not currently working on any new construction here.  That leaves 7 lots that you can choose your own builder.  We are almost completed.  Way to go Jeannie and sales team!!!!!!!

It is also time to start thinking about the future of our community.  There are only 17 lots left to sell and Walter Williams Realty will be completed with our development.  The reins of our association will be turned over to us, the home owners.  The success will depend on the strength and the determination of everyone to keep the community up to the standard that everyone felt would be here when they chose Confederate Crossing to be their home.

If anyone has prior knowledge about the ins and outs of home owners associations please contact Stephanie Harkins at 783-6165.  Everyone will get their vote when the time comes, however we need to start gathering the preliminary information so that the transition will go smoothly.  Look around you, this is a wonderful community.  Our homes are beautiful, our yards are manicured, and our families and new friends and neighbors are smiling.  Let us keep up what we know can be an UPSCALE community in the country.
